After Purchase & Installation

The flooring and window fashions professionals assigned to your home project are experts in installing all product types available at Braid Flooring ...and Window Fashions. To help prepare you and your home for an installation, we ask that you review the following recommendations to ensure that the installation crew can complete the project in a timely and organized manner.

Flooring
1. Please vacuum or sweep your current flooring to minimize existing dirt and provide the installation crew with a cleaner surface with which to work.
2. Maintain normal room temperature at least 24 hours prior to the installation all the way through until the day following the installation.
3. Please remove any breakable items from countertops, cabinets and other areas that may be at risk of being damaged during the installation. Also, to protect all pictures, wall hangings and drapery, please remove them from your room.
4. Please clean out all closets and storage areas.
5. Please make note of any hidden wiring, such as TV, phone, cable and alarms or any hidden pipelines.

During your installation, your Design Consultant will be in contact with you to ensure that the installation proceeds as scheduled and to answer any questions you may have arising from the installation.

Window Coverings
1. If possible remove any existing blinds and draperies, including any hardware before the installer arrives.
2. Please move any furniture, plants and décor accessories away from the windows.
3. This is also a good time to clean the windows.
